Nutritional therapy involves using nourishing foods, mineral and vitamin supplements and herbs to encourage the body's own healing capabilities. The foundation of each treatment protocol is to correct any vitamin and/or mineral deficiencies (sometimes with therapeutic dosages of certain nutrients) and to heal the digestive system so that the body can function at an optimum again

In order to achieve the above goals, the patient is required to answer questions regarding various aspects of health and well-being including medical history, diet, family history, menstrual problems, digestion, energy levels and exercise. In addition to that, allergy testing might be carried out and measurements taken accordingly in order to ensure that patients are not subjecting themselves to allergens, which compromise the immune system

Based on all the findings, a specific type of diet will be recommended, which often requires the avoidance of certain food substances for a specific period of time. Nutritional supplements will be used in order to facilitate the healing process

After a few weeks you will meet again with the therapist so that your progress can be monitored and if necessary changes can be made to your programme to encourage your body to continue healing. In between consultations the therapist is available for any questions or concerns
